Precept News LetterFeb, 2010
The LORD is good to all, and His mercies are over all His works.
Psalm 145:9
Dear friends, A girl at prison summarized 2009 as “Just magical!” During the year she forgave the people who had committed horrendous crimes against her and she found new life in Christ’s forgiveness. Now a beautiful, radiant, and self-confident woman stands tall. No one would suspect she was ever a timid, trembling and teary wreck.
After 5 months of Bible study and reading books about Christian heroes, another prisoner was able to look me in the eyes as he conversed and interacted normally with me. I asked: “What has changed?” His reply: “I sorted out a lot of issues!” Anger and violence are washed away by forgiveness and confession of sins. A new man! “The buck stops with me!” he promised!
The Lord has blessed us with life-changing donations recently. He has brought along three groups to be trained to lead 40M studies. Eleanor has agreed to take over the email Bible study and leaders are starting their groups in January. No wonder our confidence in Him in renewed: The Lord provides indeed in every way for the work He has called us to!
Looking forward to serving you this year as we obey the Lord and take possession of what He has prepared!
In Him,
