Book table at HEART conference in June
This is the third year that we have been at the HEART (Home-school mums) conference. What a wonderful difference word of mouth advertising made this year. I watched a mum make a bee-line for our book table, in the middle of a huge gym, in which 250 mothers were busy buying books for home schooling. As this lady gave me her order for books for her children and some studies for herself, she explained casually to the astonished mother next to her that Precept studies worked really well for families!

 
Workshops
The 5 workshops at the Christian School and at HEART were well attended and appreciated. Even though it was only a short session each time, the seed was well received.

 
Open Afternoon and MOVE-IN SALE
Inspect our new office on Saturday, 3 July 2010 between 2-4pm. This will be a great opportunity for those of you who wish to take advantage of the MOVE-IN SALE. Please see newsletter June 2010 for the specials.
You are welcome to pre-order and pre-pay so that I can have your books ready for you when you pop-in on the day. Remember the sale ends on 3rd July.
We are at 20 Amersham Way, Manukau City. Go to Ronnies Café and take the door on your right.  Note that we have an office here not a shop, so ring for an appointment if you would like to come at any other time.

 
“Grandparent – child” workshop
Are you a grandparent who would like to teach your grandchild the Bible but don’t quite know how to go about it? I’d love to show you! If you get a group together, I will come - Lord willing - and introduce how you can go about it practically!

 
Precept on radio
Precept Scotland was on radio in their country recently. Listen in – it’s well worth the time! If you have an idea how we could do something similar here in New Zealand please let me know!

Thank the Lord for:

-         His generous and timely provision!  We have again received many books for prison, paid the office insurance, received more excellent help with the website and had successful workshops and book tables.
-         17 new classes in home-school families are starting thanks to this year’s HEART conference!

 
Pray for:

-         the people who bought books in May and June at the bookstalls: That they would use them and be blessed as they discover Truth for themselves! (especially the home school mothers and their children)
-         facilitators and students to remain healthy during winter so that they can keep on studying God's Word
-         leaders to lead sensitively, assessing carefully what people need to grow the next step in Him and to choose Bible studies accordingly
-         the prisoners to be open for fundamental life-changes as they discover Truth for themselves
 -  support for our second month in our new offices - prayer and the following practical help:
•        analogue phone – do you have a spare one?
•        laptop with business programmes  (I can then start  work in our new office)
•        finances to pay for the electrical socket that is already installed
•        ca. $680 to cover the cost of already existing built-in book shelves in the storage area

 
When you shop, whom do you pay?
When you eat out, whom do you pay?
When you are fed by the Word of God, whom do you pay?

 
Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
